Northeast Tucson is located east of Sabino Canyon and as Far East towards the Mt. Lemmon area, Catalina Hwy, Bear Canyon Hwy, and parts of Houghton Road. The Santa Catalina Mountains and the edge of the Rincon Mountains surround the northeast area. You will notice the change in vegetation and even temperature as you travel northeast. There is more vegetation, like trees, grass, and man made lakes, like the Lakes of Castle Rock Estates.
